Would recommend this sensor as its small and does its job well for a small value price point.Sensor field180 degrees. Seems to detect me with no problems at a 180 degree field of view but had a 1 or 2 second delay before the light pops on Im assuming thats because it sends the signal to my bridge and then to the lights. Easily forgivable but would have been nice if it was instant.PriceBrilliant low price for a nice unit. Comes with magnetic attachment and screws in the box so you can literally place this as you see fit. You will not need to purchase a stand separately as it can hold its own standing up without falling over.Ease to set upVery easy I took it out the box and within about 2 minutes it was connected to my bridge and ready to use. Had to update it which took 15 minutes extra with 70mbps internet. It connects to Apple HomeKit as well. When using Apple HomeKit you can see extra data about your room as the device has a built in temperature sensor and light measurement feature lux readings. I didnt know it has these extra features so that was a nice surpriseSummaryBuy one of these things You can set it so that if it hadnt detected movement in 5 minutes it can turn off the lights, you can have auto lights on when you walk in the room. I have used the Lume Cube almost a dozen times with a 15 MacBook and am very satisfied with the light and the suction mounting attachment. I use a hard plastic cover on my laptop and just make sure the attachment spot for the suction cup is clean before putting it on. I have had no trouble with it falling off so far. I like that it can be used with a tripod in both vertical and horizontal positions for when I need to record a video under various light conditions and locations. The silicon cover diffuses the light well and I can adjust the intensity. I wish Id had this sooner

Very good looking lights and very bright. However the product information is incorrect either that or we have been sent the wrong product. These lights are NOT dimmable we have contacted Philips directly and they have confirmed by the product number that they cannot be dimmed. The light fitting has already been installed and we tried two dimmer switches before realising the problem was with the product itself. We love the lights so we are hoping to swap them with ones that are dimmable
