I built a basic server at home for running various test projects and wanted a better way to monitor temperatures and control fan speeds as my motherboard only had support for it in the BIOS. I found various fan controllers that had physical dials for controlling the speeds but I wanted something the OS could access this device is exactly what I needed.The Corsair application which is used to configure the Commander Pro is pretty decent albeit Windows only and allows you to configure when your fans come on and how fast they should be it supports both PWM and voltage speed control. As the Commander Pro includes 4 temperature probes you can place them around the inside of your PC in areas you think may be getting too warm to monitor their temperatures. In my configuration, I have a temperature sensor at the top rear of the case which controls when the rear exhaust turns on and keeps the fan speed as low as possible without things getting too warm.The only reason why Ive given this 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that theres no official Linux support for this device. To monitor the temperatures, fan speeds, and change the configuration I need to be running a Windows virtual machine with the Commander Pros USB port passed through so Windows can access it. Luckily the Commander Pro continues to do its job when the software is closed as the control is done entirely in hardware which means I can shut down the Windows VM and know the Commander Pro will continue controlling the fans this also means if your computer crashes and stays running the fans will still kick in if they need to.

Smaller than it looks on here, at only a couple of square inches this little gem picks you up with ease from a huge distance Have mounted mine at the top corner of the landing pointing across the landing and partially down the stairs. This picks me up as soon as I step on the first stair at the bottom in the hallway. Also picks me up instantly as soon as I come out of any door from bathroom or bedrooms Couldnt ask for more. As far as Im aware batteries last a couple of years but only time will tell. Installation and setup works effortlessly with Hue Bridge. From it detecting movement and turning on a Hue lamp its a split second, no delay at all I was excepting it to be good, I got more than what I bargained for which is very satisfying this day and age

Fcil instalacion y no necesit cambiar los culos.La luz es ligeramente ms clida de lo que estaba acostumbrado. Los tena antes de luz fria y noto q con estos me cansa menos la vista.

Great set of led strip lights. They stick very good to a variety of different surfaces and no other screws or nails needed . They are simple to install and use they are bright when needed and using the dimmer function also work well as background light.Ive tried other products like this and found these are the best
