First the bad things1. The bulbs come in small paper boxes with absolutely no information about rated voltage or wattage. See attached photo. I probably got what I ordered 12V 5W, but no way of telling wihout installing them.2. Also, no mention of the manufacturer other than Made in China3. They are definitely not 50W equivalent. 4045W maybe. Four of these provide sufficient light for an averagesized bathroom, but slightly less than the 50W halogens they are replacing. But theres an upside1. well packaged, paper box, plastic shell around the bulbs.2. fit perfectly in the halogen holder and fitting3. no flickering and not much heat produced due to 12V4. good, uniform, warm white lightAlso note that you cannot replace existing halogen bulbs with these LEDs need a constant voltage driver whereas halogens use constant current transformators.
