The whole line of iCue products is hampered by buggy software. Every few weeks one of my iCueenabled devices just stops working i.e. will glow a solid white instead of the colorpattern I chose and I need to uninstall the software, delete registry entries, and reinstall the software again for it to work. And after that, I need to go through the process of customizing the colors and patterns to the way I had them.Weekly I consider trashing the stuff and buying another companys RGB fan stuff… but something inside me keeps holding onto the hope that Corsair will fix the awful iCue software.Dont believe me Look up GamersNexuss videos on iCue stuff. Youll see for yourself.

The lights are very bright and do well for the price, but the tripods are soooo flimsy. Also both lights dont completely light up my green screen. These lights would do better for lighting a person rather than a green screen. All in all, a good budget option but not the best

Although this works as a standalone light strip unlike previous versions that needed a hub, Ive added this into an existing Hue setup easily. It links with the existing room configurations in both Hue and Apple home And connects with a Philips switch that was already part of the room.Like al our other Philips Hue kit, this was simple to set up once we had prepared the area for the effect we wanted. By using conduit to create a ledge, Philips Hue lightstrips work great as concealed feature wall uplighters. When the strip is visible you can see the individual light points think Christmas tree lights but as a rubber strip, but when installed out of direct view you just get a single coloured illumination.You can choose virtually any colour you like and any brightness, and using Siri and probably Alexa though I dont have one so cant be sure you can use voice control to set the colour, brightness, onoff.
