The colour is a true pink, great for calm and peace apparently. Hoping its a bulb that lasts a long time because its only used a few hours a day

I have now purchased several orders from Lightbulbs Direct and offer the following observations. I looked for and found in them, a different supplier having purchased mainly from my local B Q store for years. However, in recent years, despite the fact that in our country, our most common fitting is Bayonet, B Q decided to stock mainly Screw fitting bulbs, which is continental style and pretty useless here. In LBD I discovered a company which supplies a good variety of bulbs, including Dimmers which are requisite if you have Touch Bedside Lamps, as well as Dimmer switch controlled lounge lights. I have found them VERY speedy to respond to orders and comparably reasonable in their pricing. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable supply of good quality bulbs.

Very good quality glass bulb that can be used inside and out. Lovely orange glow. Quite bright for 1.5W, as I bought for small lamp in living room, it is perfect.

These dont look as good as LED filament bulbs in the GLS shape, I think because the LED filaments take up more space inside the bulb as the bulbs are smaller. So they look a little weird when theyre switched off, as you can see the yelloworange filaments inside quite clearly. They look nice when turned on though

It is too early to talk about the quality of the bulb. It looks fine but the question is how long it lasts. It looks only fine as it has bulb wattage and other information written on the top of the bulb it spoils the effect of the pearl finish of the bulb when the light is off.

An attractive bulb giving out good light, highly suitable for exposed candle style fittings. Can sometimes flicker when slightly dimmed but this is not consistent from bulb to bulb so, for example, one bulb out of five in a fitting might flicker at certain settings. This seems to be a trait with LEDs though.
